Job Description
The Team Lead, Web & Mobile Technologies, provides expert technical leadership in the development, implementation, and support of Radford University’s cloud and SaaS-based web and mobile platforms. This role ensures the stability, security, and evolution of the university’s public website, content management system, enterprise portal, mobile applications, and related integrations. The position collaborates closely with campus partners to deliver modern, effective, secure, and well-designed digital solutions that support institutional goals.
Required Qualifications
•At least 3-5 years of experience supporting the implementation and developing solutions for large websites utilizing an enterprise content management system.
•Proven ability to analyze requirements, solve complex system issues, and collaborate effectively with functional partners, vendors, and technical teams.
•Demonstrated understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and its use to improve website visibility and ranking on search engines.
•Strong CSS, JavaScript, Python, and PHP skills supporting modification and development for web platforms.
•High level of professionalism with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience developing and administering the Modern Campus Content Management System in a higher education setting.
•Familiarity with other key web applications and integrations, including mobile apps, calendaring applications, and RESTful web services.
•Experience seamlessly embedding data/modules or applications within web pages.
