Job Description
Are you passionate about collegiate athletics and building meaningful relationships that drive impact? Radford University is seeking a dynamic and strategic Associate Director of Advancement for Athletics to lead the growth of the Highlander Club and increase unrestricted support for athletic initiatives.
As a key member of the Advancement team, the Associate Director will be responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors, enhancing alumni and community engagement, and expanding the reach and visibility of Radford Athletics. This role is instrumental in driving philanthropic support that empowers our student-athletes and elevates the Highlander experience.
Required Qualifications
• Advanced degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience in fundraising, athletic development, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for relationship-building.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in athletics advancement in higher education setting.
• Knowledge of NCAA Division I athletics and donor engagement strategies.
