Job Description
Serves as Program Administration Coordinator for the Jo Ann Bingham Clinical Simulation Center. Oversees the coordination of all scheduled activities at both simulation centers. Collaborates with the Executive Director to ensure adherence to program policies, accreditation standards, and other governing body regulations. Schedules simulation activities into multiple electronic systems and assists with data collection for research projects and general record-keeping. Serves as a co-coordinator for the standardized patient program. Manages budget and reports frequent budget updates to the Executive Director. Supervises part-time employees and work study students. Assists with administrative duties for the College of Nursing as needed.
The Jo Ann Bingham Clinical Simulation Center (CSC) at Radford University is a premier, multi-site healthcare simulation facility serving learners across the New River and Roanoke Valleys. Required Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills and able to immediately respond to the needs of internal and external customers. Working knowledge of general office practices, procedures and equipment. Experience providing administrative or programmatic support in a professional setting. Advanced skills in using various computer applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based programs. Strong interpersonal, mathematical, and analytical skills to effectively communicate via telephone, written form, or in person. Ability to monitor and manage multiple budgets. Ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to research, investigate, and analyze financial data. Ability to interpret contract agreements. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Must possess self-motivation and be proactive in upholding the highest quality standards of the simulation centers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Easily learns new software programs needed to manage operations. Experience working in a university environment. Proficient with Radford University administrative systems such as Banner and the eVA procurement system. Business, management, and accounting skills.
