Job Description
Complete the production of print jobs using a variety of digital printing and finishing equipment. Deliver orders and other moderate work, such as stocking cases of paper and collating by hand. Accept payments and ensure a positive customer experience. Ensure that Radford University and its constituents are represented by the best quality printed materials on time. Occasionally assist in the Post Office.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrates a team-oriented ethic and strong communication skills. Experience providing excellent customer service. Experience in Production and/or Manufacturing environment. Experience with managing files and office applications in a mixed Macintosh and Windows environment. Demonstrated ability to quickly master and adapt to new technologies and equipment. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet established deadlines. Inclination to seek out the most effective and efficient method of producing a desired result. Ability to inspect for quality control. Ability to lift 25-50 pounds, or more, on a regular basis.
Driver's License required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating high-volume copy equipment and finishing printed work using a variety of equipment and by hand. Extensive knowledge of PDF file format. Experience with Fiery sheetfed and Fiery XF.
