Job Description
Responsible for the recruitment and development for the program including assessing academic eligibility of prospective student-athletes and athletic talent through observation and communication with coaches and other officials. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding to ensure team compliance with NCAA, Big South Conference, and institutional rules and regulations. Organize and develop a competitive playing schedule that minimizes missed class time and includes conference and non-conference opponents. Develop team travel itineraries and requests for transportation, meals, and lodging. Also, submit annual budget requests for equipment, supplies, officials, etc.
Required Qualifications
An accomplished coaching background in men's soccer; a thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; excellent communication skills; strong organizational and leadership skills, and a proven ability to instruct, develop and recruit student-athletes is required. Impeccable personal and professional integrity is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Documented success as a coach at the collegiate level strongly preferred.
