Job Description
Provide excellent customer service, serving as a liaison between Facilities Management and the campus community by phone, in person, and through e-mail. Applies technical knowledge by assigning appropriate shops and administrative knowledge by assigning appropriate funding to work orders in the Assetworks (AiM) System. Tracks and follows up on work requests to ensure timely completion. Communicates with constituents regarding scheduled events. Processes Motor Pool reservations. Distributes reports and communicates them to facilities shops.
Designated as emergency call-in/essential personnel.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated customer service experience. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality and interact professionally with a diverse group of constituents. Database input, retrieval, and reporting. Experience with comprehension and application of policies and procedures. Proficiency with current Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical knowledge of building systems and maintenance requirements. Experience with databases and/or higher education.
