Job Description
The Coordinator will develop and oversee planning and implementation of the sexual and domestic violence intervention and prevention efforts for the campus community through trainings, presentations, and events. The Coordinator will work with Student Counseling Services and Substance Abuse and Violence Education Services (SAVES) to enhance services related to sexual and domestic violence.
Required Qualifications
· Ability to work collaboratively with other professional staff and faculty.
· Demonstrated experience in educational program development and implementation.
· Exceptional communication and public speaking skills in order to effectively deliver programs and health promotion materials to diverse audiences.
· Demonstrated knowledge of sexual and domestic violence-related issues.
· Demonstrated knowledge of current and emerging issues in college health and mental health wellbeing.
· Excellent organizational, written and verbal skills.
·Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
· Advanced Degree in community health, counseling, social work, public health education, or related field or a bachelor’s degree with related experience equivalent to an advanced degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Work experience with a focus on programs/initiatives to reduce high-risk behaviors.
· Demonstration experience of grant writing.
· Experience with program evaluation and data collection
