Job Description
Radford University Athletics is seeking a dynamic and creative leader to serve as the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Fan Experience. Reporting to the Deputy Athletics Director, this position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing, branding, and promotional strategies for all sports, with a strong emphasis on men’s and women’s basketball. The Assistant AD will enhance the fan experience at Radford Athletic events, elevate the department’s brand visibility, and drive attendance, engagement, and revenue.
This role oversees game presentation, video board operations, in-game promotions, and the supervision of the Spirit Squad and Pep Band. The position also assists with fulfillment of corporate sponsorship agreements to ensure partner satisfaction and retention.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Experience in a collegiate or professional athletics setting or related field.
· Demonstrated success in achieving marketing, branding, and in-game presentation goals.
· Knowledge of sports marketing, promotions, and fan experience strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:

· Diverse work experience in marketing, promotions, and branding.
· Proven ability to generate creative ideas that enhance the in-game fan experience.
