Job Description
The Business Operations and Planning Coordinator provides critical operational, financial, and project management support for the Office of the Assistant Provost for Curriculum and Academic Quality at Radford University. This position ensures the efficient and effective administration of business functions across multiple units and functions, including Curriculum, SCHEV, Accreditation, Assessment, General Education, and Analytics. The Business Operations and Accreditation Coordinator plays a key role in budget oversight, strategic planning, operational efficiency, and project coordination to advance Curriculum, Analytics, Assessment, and Accreditation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• At least three years of experience in administrative operations, office management, or a related area.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes, grant management, and institutional reporting.
• Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including word, excel , Teams and outlook and other relevant software applications.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in higher education.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and project management tools.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of eVA/Banner, People Admin and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of university/state policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated skills with software packages such as Watermark for Student Ratings of Instruction, and Faculty Annual Review, Promotion, and Tenure
