Job Description
Responsible for all aspects of facilities, operations, and services in Student Involvement, a department within the Division of Student Affairs. Ensuring the management and day-to-day operations of Hurlburt Student Center, Heth Hall, Ken Bondurant Auditorium and that services offered are operating at the highest optimum level while delivering top-notch customer service. This includes funds handling, making cash deposits from the game room and ticket sales, doing reconciliations, secure storage of department/university funds, and providing documentation to the Bursar’s Office and other university entities. Provide leadership and guidance to professional and student staff. Supervision will encompass the selection, training, and evaluation of approximately 40 student employees. Creates training programs and staff development for student employees, tracking progress and basing programs on research and the NACE competencies with a focus on career preparation. Guides department’s implementation of Student Affairs’ Student Employment Initiative. Oversees and tracks all department student employees SEI participation including Ops, Game Room, Info Desk, and Front Desk. At all times the work will focus on increasing student success and learning at Radford University.
Required Qualifications
Previous supervisory and management experience. Demonstrated commitment and execution of customer service excellence. Ability to create, deliver, and assess training for professional and student employees. Strong written and oral communication skills. Evidence of collaboration and commitment to team success. Previous work experience in facilities management/service industry.
Experience in student development, communication, or management.
Advanced degree in a related field; or bachelor's degree with significant training and or experience equating to an advanced degree.

Preferred Qualifications:
3-5 years prior work experience in higher education, facilities management, or service industries. Previous on-call, crisis management, or facility emergency experience. Customer service and facilities certifications.
