Job Description
Responsible for administering the contract database in the Procurement and Contracts Department, managing forms, and serving as the Records Retention Officer. Generates reports as needed and oversees the department's funds handling process. Provides support to Procurement Officers as required.
Required Qualifications
Experience providing excellent customer service with the capability to identify and resolve problems/issues in a timely manner. Detail-oriented with experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Experience providing administrative support. Demonstrated excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft including Excel, Word, Outlook and databases. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to relate well with a variety of people. Work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working within a procurement environment with working knowledge of Virginia's e-Procurement Solution (eVA) or comparable electronic procurement platforms. Acquainted with the Commonwealth of Virginia's Purchasing Manual of Higher Education and its Vendors, along with the relevant Governing Rules. Proficient in utilizing databases, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, navigating websites, and developing forms.
