Job Description
Facilitate clinical simulation by running human patient simulator, standardized patient/participant, and/or hybrid simulation education activities that are already designed and preprogrammed. Establish and maintain an engaging learning environment and structure prebriefing and debriefing in an organized manner. Complete valid and reliable tool to document student performance in simulation.
Required Qualifications
Proficient with basic computer skills. Possess basic knowledge of education principles and teaching-learning methods. Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
Unencumbered registered nursing license in Virginia required. A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience (5 years preferred). Minimum BSN required.
Preferred Qualifications:
MSN preferred.
If possesses BSN only,
• national certification preferred.
• or enrolled in a graduate nursing program or CNE (Certified Nurse Educator) certified.
