Job Description

The Department of Occupational Therapy at Radford University invites applications for a nine-month, full time temporary faculty position beginning in the Fall of 2026 or Spring of 2027.

The primary campus location for this position is in Roanoke but teaching across campus locations (Radford and Roanoke) and in both MOT tracks (in-person and hybrid) is expected.

The successful candidate for this position will:

Teach across the curriculum

Advise and mentor MOT graduate students

Supervise level I fieldwork students

Serve on a variety of committees at the departmental level

Participate in curriculum and program development

Required Qualifications

1. Hold at least a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

2. Be currently certified by NBCOT

3. Be eligible for licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the Commonwealth of Virginia

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Clinical experience in OT >3 year

2. Teaching experience in higher education

3. Experience working with underserved, and/or diverse populations

4. Experience as a clinical educator
